'My wife says I have OCD, which is obsessive compulsive disorder in psychology terms,' says Prof Dave Ulrich. 'But she says I have a different version. It is organisational compulsive. I cannot leave an organisation without trying to change it. So by the time I leave a restaurant, I am telling the manager how to reorganise the food. Or at a movie like The Godfather, everyone else is going 'Wow!' and I'm saying well, structurally, they should've done this and this and this. I am a very bad date. You don't want to go to dinner with us.' |
