BACKGROUND

Prior to becoming the chief financial officer of The RBL Group, Richard worked in South Florida where he worked in accounting management responsibilities with Ryder System, Inc. and in public accounting management with Price Waterhouse and Spear, Safe, Harmon & Co. While living and working in South Florida, Richard became actively involved in professional committees of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, including terms of service as chairman of the Committee on SEC and vice-chairman and chairman of the Committee on Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards.
Before his move to Florida, Richard worked in the audit division of the Salt Lake City office of Arthur Andersen where he advanced to the manager level in the firm. Richard developed specialties in several business sectors, including natural resources and transportation.
Richard received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and his Master of Accountancy degree from Brigham Young University. While attending BYU, Richard was a member of the cross-country and track teams. As a long distance runner, he received numerous national and international honors, and he is a member of the BYU Athletic Hall of Fame.
Richard and his family reside in Utah where presently also serves as director, chief financial officer and securities principal for a financial services
