Areas of Expertise
Bonner is a Consulting Partner with the RBL Group. Bonner’s teaching, research, and consulting activities have been in the areas of leadership development, organizational change, conflict resolution, organizational philosophy, and ethics. His recent efforts have focused on leadership, management, and change in the Arab world.
Background
After completing his B. S. and Ph.D. at the University of California, Berkeley, Bonner was on the faculty of the University of Michigan. Later, he served on the faculty of the Marriott School at Brigham Young University. He also had visiting professor appointments at Stanford University, the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Southern Europe, BirZeit University (Palestine), the University of Jordan, and the Jordan Institute of Diplomacy. Bonner was a visiting scholar at the Brigham Young University Jerusalem Center for Near East Studies, then served as the Interim Dean of the Business School at Utah Valley State College.
Bonner has consulted with a long list of corporations, including General Motors, Ford, General Foods, General Electric, Shell Oil, Exxon, Hewlett-Packard, Pacific Telesis, SBC Communications, Citigroup, the Royal Bank of Canada, and the Arab Banking Corporation. Additionally, public and non-governmental organizations he has worked with include the Navajo Tribe, Save the Children, the Southern Federation of Cooperatives, the Bangkok Metropolitan Authority, the Jordanian government, the Egyptian Society of Human Resource Development, the Canadian Hospital Association, the Palestinian Authority, and the Jordan-U.S. Business Partnership.
