Starr has spent the last 25 years designing high-performance work systems for some of the largest corporations in the world. His experience includes leading the innovative work design for AT&T’s American Transtech and the design of IBM’s Business Process Management (BPM) program.
His expertise includes leading new start-up design efforts and breakthrough redesign with clients, including: American Express Financial Services, AT&T, Corning, Inc., Bell Helicopter Textron, EDS, Exxon, FMC, Ford, Forensic Technologies Inc., IBM, James River Corporation, Lucent Wireless Technologies, Nationwide, PacifiCare Health Systems, Tennessee Eastman, UNUM Insurance Co., U.S. Air Force, and others.
Starr has lectured and presented numerous Executive Leadership seminars and workshops on High-Performance Work Systems, Change Management, Organizational Systems Design (OSD), and Business Process Management (BPM) to thousands of executives, line managers, quality managers, and organization designers from global corporations. His engaging style in working with executives and management teams stimulates collaboration and excellence.
Background
Starr Eckholdt is a Partner with The RBL Group. Prior to joining The RBL Group, Starr was a founding Partner of Corporate Systems Design, was a Founding Partner of The OSD Alliance; was president of SEA, Inc., and worked as an internal organization design consultant and manager for Exxon Enterprises and Clark Equipment Company. He was co-sponsor of The Annual Conference of Organizational Systems Designers and co-founder of The Alliance of Organizational Systems Designers.
He received his Master of Organizational Behavior (MOB) from Brigham Young University and served as a Combat Infantry Leader in Viet Nam.
