Learn More About You - HR Competency Self Assessment

Measure yourself against the six critical competencies identified in Round 5 of the HRCS. Following completion of the self assessment, you receive a personal report that includes a comparison of your scores with global and regional norms. The report also presents a detailed assessment of your personal competencies complete with a list of individual strengths and target areas for development. What’s more, the self assessment offers access to the HR Toolkit, a comprehensive set of learning and planning tools.

 

See What They See - HR Competency 360 for Individuals

Get feedback about your performance from your supervisor and selected HR and non-HR peers. The HR Competency 360 report compares personal scores with those of your supervisor and peers and includes global and regional norms from the HRCS databases. Additionally, you receive written responses from your associate raters and a ranking of personal strengths and areas for improvement. The HR Competency 360 for Individuals also includes online access to the HR Competency Toolkit.

Evaluate the skills of the entire HR department and provide feedback for individuals. The HR Competency 360 for Organizations includes the same personal assessment process as the Individual 360 and also includes aggregated scores for the organization as a whole including composite individual, HR and Non-HR associate scores, and a comparison of your HR organization against global norms. The report also includes detail on the organization’s strengths and areas with greatest room for improvement.

The HR Competency Toolkit

The HR Competency toolkit provides a comprehensive online review of the HRCS research complete with in-depth discussion of each of the six competency areas. The toolkit also includes a personalized action-planning wizard with development resources designed to help you build your competence in the areas you identify as most critical.

 

Facilitated Development Sessions

One- or two-day workshops are available to help HR leadership teams make the most of the feedback they receive and ensure effective planning and follow up. Our facilitated sessions have three main components:

  • Review of the HRCS research and its implications for HR effectiveness
  • In-depth discussion of company results that helps HR professionals understand the impact of their competencies on business capabilities and performance
  • A step-by-step action planning process that assists individuals (and teams) review results, identify priority development areas, and create specific action plans
