RBL Principal

Harrison James is a rising talent in strategic management and product development, as well as an accomplished consultant with expertise in SaaS business solutions. His expertise spans crucial areas such as business analytics, data-driven strategy development, and organizational effectiveness through technology solutions.

Harrison currently serves as Principal at The RBL Group, where he oversees the management of the Organization Guidance System (OGS), an innovative B2B SaaS offering that provides organizations with valuable insights for results-focused decision making. In this capacity, his responsibilities encompass product development coordination, marketing strategy, and sales efforts for this transformative organizational tool.

Since joining The RBL Group, Harrison has demonstrated exceptional capabilities in leveraging data analytics and strategic thinking to enhance consulting outcomes. His rapid progression from Consulting Intern to Consultant and Product Manager within the firm highlights his ability to deliver high-impact results and drive technological innovation in human resources and organizational development solutions.

While pursuing his academic studies, Harrison had the opportunity to work on significant projects with renowned companies such as Chick-fil-A and Novartis. Outside of The RBL Group, he led projects with technology companies in the SaaS space, including BioCatch (a Bain Capital company) and the tech startup GuideCX. These experiences have provided him with valuable insights into the SaaS industry and strengthened his passion for using data to drive successful business strategies.

His solid academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Strategic Management from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Business, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with an impressive 3.99 GPA. As an Edwin Smith Hinckley Scholar, Harrison demonstrated exceptional academic prowess while developing advanced business analytical skills and gaining proficiency in coding languages such as Python, R, and SQL—technical capabilities that have proven invaluable in addressing complex business challenges.

Harrison's professional experience extends beyond consulting. He served as a Manager at Cougar Consulting Group, where he further honed his strategic advisory skills, and as a Commerce Policy Intern with the United States Senate, gaining valuable insights into policy and governance structures that influence business environments.

Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, Harrison currently resides in Provo, Utah with his wife. He brings a multicultural perspective to his work through his fluency in Spanish and French, enabling effective communication and collaboration across diverse cultural contexts and global business environments.
