Mike Panowyk

Managing Director, North America

Michael Panowyk is a distinguished organizational transformation expert and business leader with over 30 years of experience driving performance improvements across multiple industries. His expertise spans crucial areas such as strategy development, organizational design, process engineering, and building human capability to deliver exceptional business results.

Mike's proven track record as both a general manager and organization design consultant has earned him recognition for initiatives that transform organizational performance. He currently serves as the Managing Director for North America and North American Region Leader at The RBL Group, where he brings a strategic perspective to organization effectiveness initiatives by ensuring that scope, approach, and expected outcomes are clearly aligned to business goals and strategic requirements.

With a strong academic foundation, Mike holds an MBA with a major in Operations Management from the Schulich Business School at York University, Toronto, and a B.A.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Throughout his extensive career, Mike has accumulated diverse experience across multiple functions including product development, process engineering, sales and marketing, quality management, and general management across a variety of markets. His consulting roles have spanned lead consultant, engagement manager, and intellectual property development contributor. He has successfully launched a new business start-up, integrated acquisitions, and managed mature, cost-driven strategic business units with direct profit and loss accountability.

Prior to his current role, Mike was the Owner of Strategic Dynamics while simultaneously serving as a Consulting Partner for RBL for nearly 20 years. His previous executive positions include Vice President of Consulting at Senn Delaney Leadership, Vice President of Consulting at Novations Consulting/Provant, and Director of Leadership Development at Hoechst Celanese.

Mike has worked with clients across various industries including consumer goods, steel, automation, oil and gas, and healthcare, enabling them to innovate and adapt to changing markets and demands. He particularly enjoys tackling situations that require a radical break from the status quo and firmly believes that high-performing organizations develop the capability to repeatedly innovate in the face of change.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Mike is a devoted father who currently resides in Scottsdale, Arizona with his three children: Sasha, Mykaela, and Coleton. His passion for helping organizations achieve high performance and develop human capability to deliver business results and create stakeholder value continues to drive his impactful work across North America.
